  • Promotion zum Dr.-Ing. am Institut für Informatik an der TU Warschau über das Thema der Leistungsmodellierung von Rechensystemen.
  • 1985 Wechsel zum Institut für Rechnerentwurf und Fehlertoleranz, Fakultät für Informatik, Universität Karlsruhe, als Leiterin der Gruppe 'Leistungsmodellierung'.
  • 1994 Professorin im Fachbereich Informatik der Universität Bremen, Leiterin der Arbeitsgruppe Rechnerarchitektur und Modellierung.
